Assad’s Annihilation agents Were Here

I have used Goya’s famous image of the Reaper to help me express my anguish at the trail of destruction left by the Syrian government forces as they rearrange the geography of Syria creating a map of annihilation. As an artist, I see the landscape of Syria being uncreated, and even as I raise my voice against this sacrilege, I ask why is this deafening silence, why is the world so silent, so indifferent?
