The Compassionate, the merciful

I love calligraphy, the art of miniatures, and the word. I have experimented with Arabic calligraphy drawn to it by the magnificent legacy of Arab Islamic calligraphy. Below I have illustrated a verse from the the Koran, although I am not religious, because of the beautiful meaning the words convey. People tend to forget that religion should be apolitical because politics is of its own time while great meaningful words are of all times. In the words I have chosen, the omnipotence and majesty of God are revealed not in dominion but in compassion and mercy: In gthe name of God the Compassionate, the Merciful.
