Bearing witness: I present to you the children of Syria

Bear with me good people of the world, but I do need the mercy of God or the mercy of the universe to continue collecting images of dead and maimed children in order to prepare them for posting. I need to be in a constant state of prayer in order to come so close to them so as to gaze at their images, thus intruding and disturbing their slumber. Children are born to us, given to us as gifts because in them rests the future of humanity and the future of the earth. Therefore with the utmost tenderness, I shall gently post the images of Syria’s children whom we have failed and relinquished to death, to suffering  to disablement for life and to the torturer. I do apologize for the pain I am going to cause you, but as I said before I stand in need of your help. Let us all rage at the dying of those children’s light.

PS:  Seventy children were killed in Aleppo in two days recently.

All the images below were posted to Facebook by citizen photographers and journalists.
