I came across the following videos by accident. My search was sparked by the death of a great fighter for human rights, Stephane Hessel. The video contain extracts from other videos made by citizen journalists and photographers showing glimpses of the different stages of the Syrian Revolution. They recall great memorable moments of the Revolution which started as a peaceful protest against tyranny and injustice when people in their thousands took to the streets chanting and dancing, hope filling their souls with the ecstasy of intimations of freedom. Then the killing started and the Syrian regime moved to quench the Revolution relentlessly and savagely.  The rest is history, a history of death, untold suffering and destruction
