Death, death, death stalks the Syrian camps

Death Stalks the Syrian refugee camps as the snows fall and the winter screams in the wilderness. Babies freeze to death and old men and women shiver their lives to icy nothingness.

I cry for the children of syria…It eats away at me….I will never forget the photos of the children that were killed by the use of nerve gas…I will never understand the men from Syria…and I pray that the women somehow find a way to bring their children to america…It must be difficult to leave the country you love so much, but I don’t believe the men will ever change…I feel another Bosnia is brewing in the middle east, better to raise their babies where they can blossom and go to college and be whatever they want to be…why can’t the orphans be brought to America…I read somewhere that they do not want the children raised by Americans…I know that our youth have brought great sadness to our country with their loss of values and religion but they still have to obey laws…It is a free nation…tell me about your country and what you think would be the answer.

Thank you Barbara for your love and humanity. If you ask the Syrian women whether they would like to have their children come with them to America and be raised there, they would attempt to face death to do this. But the people who rule the world are hard.and governments are inhumane. Many, many Syrians drowned with their children as they attempted to cross the seas to Europe. Some of the camps where the refugees are taking shelter are not safe at all and women are exposed to sexual harassment.Child marriages have become common to escape hunger and rape. There are many good and humane men in Syria but extreme violence and the armed foreigners are brutalizing the people. It is a tragedy that cannot be imagined. I shall post your note to Facebook and let my friends know that there is still warmth and care in the world.

I am a caseworker here at Social Services in Maryland…I contacted some church organizations that work in the middle east…they won’t allow volunteers to go there to help…they said it wasn’t safe for americans….I feel like we have to sit back and watch and hope someone helps but how do the organizations there to help, get past all the fighting….also I read on some of the forums that some syrians don’t believe this is happening…they are blogging from comfortable living rooms and they appear to be happy and well nourished…I don’t understand, is half the nation living in luxury while the other half starves? can’t they open their homes and hearts? I believe this is war against syrian women and children….

If the people of the world think like you think, there would be less misery and pain in the world. Your observations are correct. I am one of those people who are trying to spread awareness, but I get defeated by the enormity of the tragedy and the limitation to what I can do.This is the worst tragedy of this century. Its dimensions are impossible to fathom and yet there are people who think rotten, stupid biased politics are all they can manage. People are dying by the hundreds. 15,000 Syrian children have died so far.

Its a waste of time to try and spread awareness here in America…the people of this country are guilty of being so self-absorbed and materialistic, they care nothing for others…According to polls taken, most Americans do not want to get involved with the Syrian war…first and foremost, is the threats from Russia and China…but also because of the state of the economy…money will always be the most important thing to Americans…What other countries need to know about the United States is that the President doesn’t run the nation…even if Obama wanted to intervene, he couldn’t…WALL STREET RUNS AMERICA…banking cartels, oil moguls…they buy and sell politicians, they make the policies, and they enforce everything with money…I don’t know much about other nations, clearly, but everyone in America knows who runs it…we’ve learned to accept the corruption, we’ve learned to distrust our government and even the western media…so when Americans read about the plight of Syria through, what else???, the media, a tool that is used to sway Americans and swindle them out of money…that’s what Americans think…they think that something more sinister is behind it…I’m sure Assad is aware that wall street has some strategic interest in Syria…and wall street will let Obama know when he can take political credit for Syrian intervention…until then…on another note…I just watched a really interesting BBC documentary….a news crew is following a Dr. Rola Hallam, thru the war zones in Syria…she is talking about how the medics and nurses are now being arrested or attacked for trying to help civilians…very interesting…

Thanks again Barbara. I am going to post your comment. It seems the world has accepted the death of Syria and itys children. Syria is being devoured now by the Assad and his ruthless army supported by the psychopaths of Hizbollah and Iran on the one hand and the Qaeda supporters or affiliates on the other.Nearly half of the Syrian population are children or young adults. They are the sacrifice that is being offered at the alter of geopolitics and pragmatism..
